Davidson Gaming Nights!

On the occasion of the European Disability Employment Week, let’s take a look back at the Davidson Gaming Nights that have ignited our summer in Davidson!

In July 2016, reflecting both the UEFA Euro and the Paralympics, Davidson organized a sports tournament (soccer, table soccer and pool) as well as a video games championship (Fifa16), in order to raise awareness about disability.

The winner of these tournaments received a one-week trip for two in Rio de Janeiro during the Paralympics, with Vincent Boury (Five-time table tennis champion during the Paralympics) as their guide. This journey’s goal was not only to discover a new place but also to raise awareness about disability and know more about Brazil’s social conditions.

Redouane Blaq, winner of the Davidson Gaming Nights experienced a genuine human adventure in Brazil. His interview is available HERE.
