Strengthening our B-Corp commitment

At a time when the mobilization against global warming is gaining ground, Davidson is mobilizing to make employees aware of the major environmental issues.

So who better to talk about this vast topic than sustainable development actors?
On November 21st, we were honoured to welcome in our Parisian premises Planète Urgence and Jean-Louis Etienne, doctor, explorer and first man to reach the North Pole alone in 1986.

An ardent supporter of the environmental cause, Jean-Louis Étienne held a conference on how to reconnect with the Earth’s ecosystem. His presentation included messages about rethinking our model of society and in particular changing our behaviours to limit our impacts on our world as much as possible.

During the event, our partner Planète Urgence also presented the initiative set up as part of our partnership and reminded the Davidson teams about the opportunity of taking solidarity leave on three types of assignments:

  • Training for adults
  • Social and educational support
  • Biodiversity census and protection

Since our collaboration began, 14 Davidson team members gave their all on development support assignments during 2019! We hope that 2020 will provide even more evidence of this commitment thanks to the Davidson teams. ?

By broadening our scope of concerns to environmental and societal considerations (volunteering, donations), we are striving – with conviction and humility – to take concrete and effective efforts that will collectively have a positive impact on our environment.
