Back to the B Corp event by Davidson that reinforces our commitment
At a time when the mobilization against global warming is gaining ground, Davidson is mobilizing to make employees aware of the major environmental issues.
So who better to talk about this vast topic than sustainable development actors?
On November 21st, we were honoured to welcome in our Parisian premises Planète Urgence and Jean-Louis Etienne, doctor, explorer and first man to reach the North Pole alone in 1986.
Great defender of the environmental cause, Jean-Louis Etienne held a conference on how to reconnect with the Earth’s ecosystem. Rethinking our model of society, but most of all changing our behavior to limit our impact on our globe as much as possible: these are the messages conveyed by Jean-Louis Etienne during his speech.
During the evening, our partner Planète Urgence also took the floor to show the measures as part of our partnership, and reminding the Davidsonians about the opportunity to take a solidarity leave through 3 different types of missions:
- Adult training
- Socio-educational support
- Biodiversity inventory and protection
Since the launch of our collaboration, 14 Davidsonians have been involved in development assistance missions in 2019!
We hope that 2020 will get even more volunteers involved. 😉
By broadening our spectrum of concern towards environmental and societal considerations (volunteering, donations), we strive, with conviction and humility, to set up concrete and effective actions, which put together will make a positive impact on our environment.
