Festive and sporty celebrations to mark our 13th anniversary!
For our anniversary, we thought big. We celebrated with two events: our annual party and the Davidson Games.
This year, we innovated and celebrated our thirteenth anniversary a stone’s throw away from the Champs-Elysées, in the luxury setting of the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild. More than 1,500 people from around the world came together in a baroque atmosphere. The evening was marked by the announcement of our new certification: B Corp. We are delighted to be embarking on this new adventure and to be part of a company that does not seek to be the best in the world but to do the best for the world!
This anniversary was particularly festive, with cooking events, themed photo booths, a whisky and cigar bar, etc. In terms of music, the group JAKH, the Dav Band and Will, our DJ, enabled us to set the dance floor alight until the early hours of the morning. The next day we headed to INSEP for the inter-subsidiaries tournament of the second edition of the Davidson Games. The regional delegations competed in the following events: football, running, biathlon range, beach volleyball, pétanque, a cooking challenge and table tennis. The afternoon was held in a family and sporting atmosphere, and was filled with laughter, sweat and fun! We were joined by the French Handisport Federation, which ran stands to raise awareness among Davidsonians of disabilities based on the following activities: para-table tennis, boccia (pétanque), sitting volleyball, wheelchair racing, and visually-impaired shooting. We were honoured to have Stéphane Molliens, team gold medallist at the Paralympic Games in Rio in 2016, as our sponsor. The day closed by handing out medals on the podium in the presence of Edouard Mandelkern, (one of our co-founders), Stéphane Molliens and Anouk Garnier, European Spartan Race champion (team obstacle course). The competition was finally won by the South 2 delegation, followed by Rhône-Alps and with the North delegation ending in third place.
Once again, well done to all the participants!
